Headley Bowling Club Social Events
​There are many Social events held throughout the year by the club, both in and out of season, including:-
BBQ's
Skittles Evening
Quiz Night
Summer Candlelight Bowls Evening
Competition Draw Evening
Presentation Evening (which includes a delicious three course dinner, usually held in October at a venue outside the club ).
Special events like Coronation Day (any excuse for a celebration and a Roll - Up).
We have a well stocked bar available during all the events held at the Club.
Fish and Chips, Ploughman's lunch, and other food  (often supplied by our members) is usually part of our gatherings.

BBQ

Come along for a Game and enjoy the sunshine with Chicken, Hamburgers, Onions, Sausages with salad and bread accompaniments, all washed down with a glass of something  from the bar.

SKITTLES EVENING

Usually held in November, this evening gives you the chance to demonstrate your skill in the noble art of knocking down wooden pins.

Competition is fierce, fuelled usually by a Ploughman's Supper and plenty of Ale, Wine etc. to stimulate the throwing muscles. An evening designed to keep the spirits up during the long winter nights.

QUIZ NIGHT

​

Usually held in February or March, this evening gets club members together in different teams to pit their collective brain cells against one another with questions on many subjects.  Half way through, brains are replenished with steaming hot Fish and Chips all washed down with whatever you fancy from the bar. A great night out for all.

PRESENTATION EVENING

​

Each year in October, the Presentation Evening is held at an outside venue; accompanied by a three course meal and washed down with liquid refreshment. Headley's Competition Winners are presented with Trophies and a good night is had by all.
